WSOP kicks off with a bang!
In South Africa everyone may be gearing up for the FIFA World Cup but on the other side of the World in Las Vegas it’s all about poker! The biggest poker event has once again kicked off at the Rio and 2010 is proving to be the biggest and best WSOP yet. This year organizers have increased the floor space to 100,000 square feet! It seems that the increased floor is biding well with the players. As ‘Amarillo Slim” Preston puts very bluntly “I came in this morning and I thought the U.S. Marines had landed. This is the biggest (expletive deleted) room I’ve ever seen. I’ve got 40 acres of red hogs, but I sure as hell haven’t ever seen a building like this before.”
