WSOP: Greg Ronaldson through to Day 4
The soccer may be over, but the action at the 2010 World Series of Poker (WSOP)
is heating up! At the beginning of the month several All Africa Poker Tournament (AAPT) regulars headed off to Las Vegas with the goal of bagging the gold bracelet and WSOP Champion title.
The Main Event saw the the likes of previous AAPT Champions Greg Ronaldson and Darren Kramer, AAPT regulars Rudolf Fourie, Darren Miller, Conrad Coetzer, Jarred Solomon and Myself. There were four Day 1′s which allowed the 7,319 entrants to compete for their seat on the final table and for the first prize of $8,944,138.
The Main Event was unforgiving and among the many players whose 2010 WSOP dreams came to an end were Jarred Solomon, Conrad Coetzer and myself.
We confirmed that Greg Ronaldson and Darren Miller both made it through to Day 3 but unfortunately for Darren his WSOP journey has come to an end. Greg has survived and made it through to Day 4. He will be starting the day off on 281,000 chips. Make sure you follow all the updates on our Facebook fan page or on Twitter.
So whilst most of us start to wind down from all the action on the soccer field
and the WSOP felt, it’s time to start getting ready for the action packed All Africa Poker Tournament which is TWO weeks away! Do you think you have what it takes to
take down the R1 Million first prize? What are you waiting for, get your seat today! For more information, or to buy your seat email questions@allafricapoker.com
