WSOP DAY 1A … Shuffle up & Deal
7 South African players took their seats today, Friday 3rd July at the WSOP $10,000 Main Event. Lino Pestano; Kyri Patsalos; Nic Sissou; Raymond Rahme; Jaco Storm; Ryan Dreyer and Ryan Price were the first of the African contingent to experience the new 30,000 chip starting stack, with blinds starting at 100/200. They will be playing 4 levels of 2 hours per level today.
The total number of players has notyet been announced but it seems to be quieter than previous years and the consensus in the media room is that this year will have see less players.
