Winning the race to the All Africa Poker Tournament 2009
Brent Graham, betting blogger and broadcaster, has vowed that once the weight he has picked up over the past few years has dropped off, he is treating himself to one of the loves of his life – a seat at the 2009 All Africa Poker tournament at Piggs Peak. “I figure the money I save on food and medical expenses will make the economics tick” says an excited Brent.
Brent’s commitment to his cause is to lose a total of 23.4 kilograms by the end of March 2009, which will see this ex-rugby player weighing less that 100kilos in over 10 years. Should he fall short of his goal, Brent will be donating R2000 to a charity of his choice as well as R100 for every kilogram he fails to lose.
In support of Brent and his dream of playing in the 2009 tournament, the All Africa Poker Team has decided to sponsor him one rebuy and one addon to the value of R12,500.
To date Brent has lost just shy of 6kilos in one month, so all looks set for Brent’s trip to Swaziland in 2009!
