Vanderlinde flummoxed
Francis Vanderlinde found himself all-in when he moved his chips into the middle in response to the all-in from Michael Nwabueze. It looked like a great call when Nwabueze showed K Q to the A J and even better when the flop showed K 10 A. Unfortunately it wasn’t to be because the river gave Francis the two pair he didn’t want – it completed the straight draw for Nwabueze. Francis Vanderlinde heads home in 21st position.
The gifted Mr. Eber managed a monstrous suck out against Simon Solomon when he shoved with 9 9 to K K. He spiked the 9 on the flop and is back in the game.
