Two previous champions in a row
In what turned out to be a massive hand Convery tried to steal the pot with 7 7 and went all in after a raise from Warrick and a call from Gareth Kalil. The short stack Anthony Semmens also moved all in. Warrick got out of the way and Gareth Kalil made the call.
Convery showed his 7 7 , Kalil looked good at least for the side pot with 10 10 and Semmens showed Q Q. The community cards were all below seven which gave the main pot to Semmens and the sizeable side pot to Kalil.
Chris Convery, two time winner, will not be making it three and is eliminated in 29th position with The Rahme (77)
