Hand 41: Neil flat calls the 40k from middle position but Chris raises to 80k from the button. Thomas has had enough and shoves in the remainder of his diminishing stack. Neil gets out of the way and it is another 143k for Chris to make the call.
After a very long period of thought and discussion the dreaded sweatband comes out and Chris almost reluctantly makes the call.
His reluctance is understandable when he shows Js 8s and becomes dread when Thomas reveals 8d 8c.
Flop: 9s 5s J c – Chris takes the lead with the Jack and has a flush draw to boot.
Turn: 5
River: 3
No help from the community cards and Thomas Toich is eliminated in 8th place winning R 145,000
