The (nervous) wives club
The saying goes that “Behind every man there is always a good woman” and this little cliché is just as true at the poker tables. In the corner, conveniently located near the coffee station, are a group of ladies all rooting for their significant others. They chat amiably until their man starts betting and then the nail chewing begins.
Hang in there ladies, maybe just maybe, a trip to Las Vegas and a million rand may be a day and a half away.
