The finalists interviewed
The finalists are all feeling like celebrities! Between the incessant congratulations from everyone at Piggs Peak to the TV interviews and the photographs, they have never felt like this before especially the ones that haven’t had the pleasure and the honour to be on an All Africa final table.
Here are their words:
Marco Farrell: It’s not going to be easy. There are some very good opponents.
Darren Kramer: This is his 4th final table and he has learnt a lot from the collective wisdom of his friends.
Naheem Lum: He has been playing a much tighter game than usual to make sure he cashes.
Nicholas Zakhem: Very happy, very excited. His 10th All Africa and his first cash.
Jay Sookoo: 8th All Africa and his first cash. He will not be bullied!
Raymond Ming Fok: He is quite short stacked so he will have to gamble to get ahead.
Joep Van Almenkerk: Has been playing poker for 5 to 6 months only. This is the best fun!
Kosta Kotsikaris: This is going to be a tough final table. I will not keep quiet!
Eugene du Plessis: 4th All Africa but first final table. It’s all about the win at one of the strongest final tables.
Gareth Wobbe: First All Africa. Absolutely ecstatic and will be wary of Kramer and du Plessis.
PLay will commence at 18h15
