The final 18 decided
The poker room is deathly quiet, as if the players aren’t quite in the groove yet. They are also aware of the importance of the morning session. No one is immune to the potential big swings that will make a massive difference to making it to the next hurdle.
The raises and re-raises are not being called whilst players are hoping for that big hand that will make them comfortable enough to play a bit more aggressively.
Neville Eber has just been eliminated by Joe Rahme. 19th place for Neville who made his standard all-in move with Q K and found massive chip leader Joe Rahme waiting with A 9. The flop produced the Ace but also gave Neville a straight draw. The turn and river were blanks.
