The big stacks butt heads
Jarred Solomon and Eugene du Plessis got into a massive pot of over three hundred thousand chips on a rag flop. The turn and river produced running clubs to make the flush a possibility. Eugene went all in and after a protracted thinking period Jarred asked for someone to put the clock on him.
Whenever someone does that he will more often than not, fold the hand. He did! But when he asked Eugene to show or tell him, he refused.
A call would have crippled his chances to make the final table. A good laydown? We will never know because they are no longer on the TV table.
