Team All Africa Poker departs for Vegas!
OR Tambo aiport has seen a flurry of Team All Africa Poker players passing through customs in the past few weeks, on their way to Las Vegas, and the World Series of Poker 2007.
The last of the crew departs today, including Super Saturday’s Neil Andrews supported by film crew of Michael Collet Productions and Piggs Peak’s Group Marketing Manager, Wendy Graaf.
Sandy Koor, Claude Sacks, Neville Eber, Ray Rahme and Ryan Brauer have all made their way and started aclimatising to the very hot weather, and very hot poker action at the tables.
Not only is Team All Africa Poker represented by the winners, but supported by many other Southern African players. Joe Rahme made a great start to his WSOP endeavours by winning the US$500 Buy-in event at The Wynn Hotel netting himself a cool $12,000.
Not only has the activity been at the poker tables, but the boys have been networking with the rich and famous, with a few notable interactions with the Man. United team members.
Neil, Michael and Wendy will be traveling via Washington and the news will be fed back to the rest of us, not so lucky to be doing the 32 hour trek across the world, on this blog. We expect to get daily updates and photos from Wednesday onwards.
Feel free to send messages of support and encouragement to our guys on the blog and watch this space.
