Talking too much?
Ryan Brauer, in quite characteristic form, managed to talk himself into an ill-advised all-in scenario against the very solid Barry Shum. With only a gut shot straight draw and a back door flush draw on a rag flop, Shum carefully considered his reraise with pocket Queens whilst “Motormouth Brauer” made sure that he pretty much knew he wasn’t losing! Shum made the “already called” bet and ensured that Brauer was in prestigious company for the most re-buys prize.
And speaking of loose play, Gareth Kalil is not disappointing. His suited 3 9 did not improve against Kevin van den Bergh’s 8 8.
Marco Farrel made a move in the right direction when he flopped a straight to Simon Shonfeldt’s pocket Kings. The turn made it interesting at least when the King appeared giving Simon ten outs. He missed. Re-buy!
The last hour of play for the night has begun.
