Survival of the shortest
Fabio Cornelli has just taken a chunk out of Ryan Brauer’s stack. Brauer raised under the gun and Fabio went all in from late position. Brauer commented that at least he had live cards when he made the painful call.
Brauer showed J 9 clubs and Fabio K 3 clubs! The flop was perfect for Brauer at 4 6 9 but the turn King clinched the hand for Cornelli.
Dave Spangenberg hit a river for his survival and doubled through Edgar Antezana. All the money went in on the turn on a board with 4 5 6c 7c. Antezana had A 3 and had the straight whilst Spangenberg had Kc 5c and was looking for the flush to survive. The river 9c has given him a chance to make yet another final table.
