Superstition in Poker
Most gamblers are known for their superstitions and poker players are no different. On table Three, Victor Witte refused to make change for Eugene du Plessis because he does not like the large denomination chips (this will make the later stages of the tourney a little difficult…) and in the very same breath the reason why Eugene wanted change in the first place, was because he doesn’t like calling his bets, he likes putting in the correct amount of chips!
This idiosyncrasy seems to have worked for Eugene as he took down the pot from Darren Kramer…
