Some actual poker
Apart from the all-in shoves there is a bit of poker being played. Terry Brookes just called down Joe Rahme with bottom pair much to the incredulity of the great David Dadic. Brookes calmly said he could see that Joe was bluffing. Nice one Terry!
James Reilly put his tournament life at risk for a rather large part after many limpers and a small raise again called by most of the table. He collected without having to show a card.
Bennie Lingenfelder fell on hard times after his top pair was beaten by the river flush of Frano Lottering. With less than a thousand chips he moved all in with K 8 and found Brian Welman with the ladies! Hope appeared when he made the straight with his eight on the turn but a fourth spade on the river gave Welman the flush, the pot and Bennie’s scalp for his trophy case. Bennie Lingenfelder eliminated in 97th spot.
