Sham doesn’t want to gamble
Hand 31: Thomas flat calls the blinds from early position and M J obliges with a check from the BB.
Flop: 9 6 9 – all check
Turn: 8– all check
River: 4– all check
Thomas takes down the pot with Ace high.
Hand 32: Sham flat calls from middle position. M J completes from the S B and Chris checks his option from the BB.
Flop: Q 8 8 – Sham bets out for 95k and the blinds let go.
Sham shows A Q – another flop hit.
Hand 33: M J flat calls from the button but Chris from the SB is having none of that and puts in a raise of 100k. BB Thomas folds as does M J.
And in the last hand before dinner:
Hand 34: Robbie Sham raises to 100k from early position but his party is spoiled by Thomas Toich’s all-in from the SB.
Robbie folds and shows J J! Thomas obliges and shows A Q. It would have been a race but Robbie did not want to gamble at this stage – had he won the hand however, he would have been in great position for the second half of the final table.
