RYAN EBER’S WSOP EFFORT ENDS
Ryan Eber had pocket 8’s and was called by K 10 out of the Big Blind, K came on the flop and the board did not improve to knock Ryan out in around 365th place, only 6 places away from the next increase in prize money. Eber, former All Africa Poker Millionnaire and many time final table finisher, takes home US$28,950, which equates to just over R230,000 – no small pay day.
Andre “Shuffle” Johnstone is the final remaining Team All Africa Poker player and currently has just over 350,000 chips. There are 363 players remaining and the next pay level is $32,166 for positions 351 to 289. Current blinds are 2,500/5,000 with a 500 ante, and just over 5 minutes to the end of the blind and a 20 minute break.
