Running commentary on Ryan Brauer at the BellagioWPT World Championship
After an impressive win at Bellagio Cup Event 23 at last years World Series of Poker 2007, Ryan Brauer is back in full force at this year’s WPT World Championship in Las Vegas. With an estimated 400 poker pro’s and hopefuls all gathering the Bellagio from 19th and 26th of April this year, Brauer will have his work cut out for him. He is looking forward to the event and has dubbed this 6 day freeze-out tournament with a 50 000 starting stack “the best structured event”. Brauer, who won his seat to the WPT World Championship as part of his first prize at last year’s Bellagio Cup tournament, will be joined by player’s who have either qualified through similar events or bought in for $25 000.
Brauer, All Africa Poker Tournament Commentator, clearly not only has an aptitude for commenting on the game. He has worked his way to the top of South African poker league with tops finished such as runner up at the All Africa Poker Tournament in February 2007 and earned his place on Team All Africa. Brauer also has international poker experience with his impressive 30th place finish at the Aussie Millions in 2007 and is the Bellagio Cup reining champion. “We expect Ryan to improve on his performance of last year, and will support him from the rails all the way.
