Ray Rahme goes through to Day 3 with 400,000 chips
Team All Africa can proudly report that Ray Rahme made it, along with 349 others, to Day 3 of the $10,000 WSOP Main Event on Thursday. Play finished shortly after midnight and a rest day awaits them while Day 2B takes place.
He takes with him 400,000 chips, a very respectable chip stack with the current chip leaders sitting with chips stacks :
Jon Moonves – 570,000
Jeff “The Rain” Banghart – 551,000
Tuan Lam – 515,000
Kenny Tran – 495,000
Daniel Elizondo – 470,000
Joe Rahme takes his place in Day 2B (Wednesday) and we hope he's finally getting some sleep, something which has been in short supply in his efforts to get this far. The film crew will be escorting Joe through to the Rio Hotel at 11.30am – he's starting to enjoy this papparazzi life style!
Ryan Brauer was also heading for some sleep time in preparation for his Day 1B at the WPT Bellagio Cup III event beginning at 12pm. With his bracelet safely stored in his room safe, and prize money from his previous win in the Bellagio vaults, Ryan can take his place with pride and confidence, knowing that his fellow Southern African players & All Africa Poker team members are behind him all the way.
