Ray races
Fazel Dawood has just experienced what it means to be in a race against Ray Rahme.
Ray had pocket threes to Fazel’s 10 7 suited. To add to the excitement, Ryan Brauer and Darren Kramer were taking bets on the hand with Brauer betting against Ray and even giving Kramer odds. The flop came 2 4 6 rainbow giving Ray a straight draw and no help to Fazel. The turn brought the 10 giving Fazel the lead.
In the words of the poet “the river will deliver”… the five came to give Ray the straight and the pot, Kramer made a couple of hundred rand and Fazel got the opportunity to re-buy.
Apparently, Ray Rahme hasn't lost a race since half way through the last century.
