The ability to read the poker tells of opponents around the poker table is a key skill that differentiates a professional poker player from an amateur.
Participants at the next World Series of Poker Academy clinic taking place from the 6th to the 7th of September 2008 at the Bicycle Casino, Los Angeles will have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge on how to detect bluffs and read competitors. In addition to learning to read poker players tells there will also be live hand demonstrations of poker strategies such as playing your position, calculating pot odds and when to switch poker styles during a tournament from some of pokers best professionals. At the end of the first day, there will be a FreeRoll tournament, during which entrants can apply their newly acquired skills and at the same time stand in line to win a $5,000 entry into one of the WSOP Circuit Events.
