Poker Stars wows media at The Palms
In a rare opportunity for the media, Poker Stars hosted a press conference and poker tournie in The Rock Room at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas today.
Team All Africa Poker was up close and personal with the likes of Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker, Isabelle Mercier, Noah Boeken, Barry Greenstein, Humberto Brenes, Vanessa Rousso, Katja Thater, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Shannon Elizabeth and Jason Alexander.
It was great to be able to spend time talking with these poker icons, and Poker Stars are definitely doing a great job of getting their new team members on the map.
Jason Alexander (George on Seinfeld) was most gracious and he is very interested in coming out to South Africa to play a bit of poker. We’d better start working on those tournament schedules for all the interest being shown in African tournies.
