Poker is at an all time high Down-Under
The excitement and anticipation surrounding the 2008 Aussie Millions Poker Championship became fairly obvious the moment it was announced that 537 players had gathered in the Crown Casino Poker Room for the opening event in Melbourne, Australia on 5th January 2008.
One of the most high profile female poker players in the world ‘Jennifer Tilly will take her seat at the 2008 Aussie Millions Poker Championship Main Event. Tilly earned the respect from the poker world when she won the Ladies No Limit Texas Hold'em event at the 2005 World Series of Poker, and then followed it up and cemented her place in the poker community winning the third World Poker Tour Ladies Invitational event.
Another player who will be taking up the challenge down-under, is our very own poker star Ray Rahme. Ray burst onto the International poker scene when he placed 3rd at the WSOP 2007. Since then he has been jet setting around the world playing in all the top poker tournaments such as the Aussie Millions.
