Poker is a family game
Many families gather around the kitchen table and play poker. This is a growing pastime as poker becomes accepted as a great game that not only is entertaining but is very educational.
Gathered at the tables tonight are a few father and son teams: Ryan and Neville Eber – regulars at All Africa and very successful; Dale and Brian Winterstein – Dale is a previous winner and Brian is potentially the best player to have never cashed; Robbie and Chris Sham – also regulars with Robbie finishing 3rd in July. Stuart Reilly is alone this time having worked out that his sons were just not holding up the family name.
Brothers on the felt: Jose and Lino Pestana; and Frano and Eben Lottering.
Husband and wife teams: Johan and Noeline Kemp
And the full family: Andre and Cornelia Steenkamp have brought their son Colin and all of them are trying to amass chips.
A short break and then the blinds will be at 150/300 for the third hour of the re-buy period.
