Pedigree at All Africa
This is Ryan Eber’s 6th All Africa final table! And when he makes a final table he goes deep never ending worse than 4th. He has two 3rd places, one 4th, one 2nd (at the last tournament) and won the event in November 2006. The only other winner in the field is Gareth Kalil, so it will be up to the two of them to become two time winners.
Eugene du Plessis, Jay Sookoo and Peter Kortleve have all made final tables before so they will be very aware of what to expect.
The other five players will be at the All Africa final table for the very first time and it will be interesting to see how they handle it.
Interestingly enough Savvas Koushis was the player that I was referring to on Thursday, who came in looking in awe at the room he had watched on television – well now he will live the experience.
