Table one is a fun table with constant banter. In a raised pot with five callers, Warren Zackey bet out from the BB with what he thought was a half pot bet but having accidentally grabbed a 5000 chip instead of a 500, it turned into a 4 times the pot size bet! He was horrified when Andre Johnstone re-raised all-in. He was committed however and made the call with 7 3 (suited in hearts mind you) on a 7d 8d 8 board. Andre showed Ad 5d and spiked the Ace on the turn.
Tanya Kotze is the second player eliminated. Her A Q came up short when she moved all-in and not only found another player with the identical hand but also Peter Vermaas with KK. The Cowboys held up and Tanya goes to the rail in 105th position.
