Not a theme party
Previous tournaments have all been characterised by one overriding feature or other but this AAPT seems to be without focus. Who will forget AAPT 10 when over twenty players wore hoodies? Tonight not one player is hiding under a hood.
Sunglasses are being worn but only at an average of about one or two per table and this is a higher ratio than the firm favourite of peak caps!
The card protectors also seem to have fallen out of favour. A few players have promotional protectors from the All Africa Team, one or two have their lucky charms and Ray Rahme is using is lighter.
