Nick Sissou's stack increases to 80,000
Just got news from the floor that Nick Sissou just won a big pot to take him to just over 80,000 in chips. Quote from Nick, “The guy under the gun raises, I call with 8’s. Another guy calls from mid position, the big blind is short stacked with about 8,000 – he ships. The guy under the gun is thinking, thinking, he calls as well. I think to myself, let me not get too involved here, so I just call, other guy folds. Flop comes 5 7 10, he checks, I ship it as well – right then and there, he folds, the other guy had AK and my 8’s held up.”
