News Hi from the All Africa Poker team!
This is the first of our notes on our auspicious poker tour to the Aussie Millions Poker tournament. We hope to be able to send back info on our the lads are doing, what we are getting up (or down) to, and give you all a sense of what being on poker tour is all about. So much so, that you will be booking your ticket with us for the next one before we even get back!
We are heading off to O R Tambo airport shortly, where we will meet up with the Super Saturday team of Neil Andrews, Terry Paine, Rod McCurdy, Phumlani Msibi and their back up production crew. I'll be heading up this motley crew with Wendy Graaf (nanny/tour co-coordinator and occasional marketing manager) and Michael Collet (if you come to All Africa, this is the guy who gives you your 15 minutes of fame on the All Africa Poker channel, DSTV 121). Our first port of call after the departures lounge will be Sydney, where we hope to catch the end of the Ashes (English white wash being imminent), and hopefully send some pics of the girls & guys on Bondi Beach.
The majority of our poker team arrives during the course of next week in Melbourne, if any of you are in the area, do let us know.
