Nelson takes his toll
Paulo Pellizzer went all in with his A 6 and found the A K of Brian Welman. The King on the flop all but sealed the hand. The turn and river proved unhelpful and Pellizzer goes home in 111th.
110th place has also been decided in another hand made for television. Lolly Jackson played what is becoming his favourite hand, the 5 6, to Peter Kortleve’s pocket sevens. The flop was 4 7 8 giving Kortleve a set and Jackson the straight. All the money went in as would be logical in this case but the board did not pair and Kortoleve goes home.
The TV table claims its first victim in the form of Frank Casal. Out in 109th.
