Loads of Volatility
Gareth Kalil and Ryan Eber tangled and Eber lost most of the chips that he took off Ronaldson. There was plenty of action until the turn when the board read 3 A 7 7 rainbow. Kalil moved all-in and Eber took ages to make the call showing A J. Kalil turned over 7 6 for a three of a kind on a brilliant turn for him. The river helped no one and Kalil is now also amongst the leaders whilst Eber slides back to about 250k.
Renier Van Den Berg had very few chips left when he made his final play with A 10. He was called for a fraction of his stack by Eugene du Plessis with A 9. Both players hit the flop with their kickers and du Plessis also picked up a flush draw. The 3rd nine on the river gave Eugene the sin and sent Van Den Berg packing in 22nd spot.
