Kemp joins the fray
Hand 39: Kemp once again puts all of his chips at risk with Topol next to speak. Kemp adds 95k to his stack. Kemp has survived as the short stack and has not gone to showdown once!
Hand 40: Rosenthal tries a steal from the SB but he clearly isn’t paying attention because the BB is Kemp who… moves all-in. Rosenthal gives it up.
Hand 41: du Plessis has not seen a lot of action but he chose to open with a rather large bet of 350k! Kemp was unperturbed by this and, yes, moved all-in again! It was only a few thousand for du Plessis to see a flop which he put into the middle and then sheepishly turned over Qs 3s! Kemp showed Ad 10d for either a great read or a brave all-in.
Flop: 5 8 7 all hearts
Turn: 9
River: K
Johan Kemp’s first showdown doubles him up and for the first time on the final table he is not merely hanging on.
