Kemp in the mix
Johan Kemp just made a potentially tournament winning lay down. After quite a bit of action pre-flop and a A 2 5 flop, Mark Christie bet out and eventually Kemp laid his pocket Kings down. Christie was kind enough to show A Q.
And in another bit of excitement, Kemp was gain involved but this time with Joseph Vinecombe. Vinecombe was short stacked and moved all-in from UTG having found Big Slick. Kemp in the BB made the call eventually and would have 8k left if he lost with A Q suited in spades. Flop: 6 6 8 – two spades, Turn 5c and river 8h. A massive amount of tension in the poker room and it all fizzled into a split pot…
Gareth Kalil’s fortune keeps getting worse. He is at just over 200k.
A ten minute break and then we are back with blinds of 8k/16k and 60 minute blind levels.
