Kalil clobbered
Garteh Kalil is the first previous winner to be eliminated. He turned the seven-high straight but was rivered by Marcus Theron who made the nine-high straight. Kalil out in 109th position.
Mauro De Rose just lost one of the biggest pots of the night. On a 6 7 8 rainbow board he flopped the stone cold nuts with 9 10 to Ivan Pakkiri’s lower straight with 4 5. Pakkiris’s hand was suited in clubs however and the turn and river obliged with running clubs to give him the win. De Rose not continuing his form from the previous All Africa.
