Jonathan Voss is eliminated
Starting the day with 32,000 chips, Jonathan spoke to us on his elimination, “Day 2 didn’t last too long, got Jacks early on and had to fold them to a 3 in a row flop, which dug a bit into my stack. Had K 10 on a K 9 6 flop, no flush or anything, the other guy flopped 2 pair and took a big hand off me and I eventually went down to about 14,000.
I got A K, opponent raised up, I raised him 4,000 and he put me all in. I decided with only 10,000 left I’m not going to fold and I called - he had pocket Aces. Flop came 3 in a row and I turned a gut shot so my only hope was to split the pot, but no chance. Fair enough he got Aces, can’t say much else. Very short day 2, lasted just under an hour – not very good. WSOP experience has been very good, great structures, dealers are good, amazing experience to this point – got 6 more days in Vegas so I’m going to make the best of it!
