Joe Rahme rivered by Sandy Koor
Ocean Basket sponsored player Joe-boy Rahme has exited the tournament in 6th place with US$10,000 after being rivered by 3 Piggs Poker Manager, Sandy Koor.
Rahme had 10 Q, Koor had 8 9. The flop came Q K 7, then in a sickening turn of the cards the board finished with 8 8, winning Koor the hand and knocking Rahme out.
Joe was very complimentary about the tournament, saying that “everything was fantastic, the food, the accomodation – it was all very good value.”
Joe has had a good run in live tournament play with his 2nd place at Emporers at the end of September winning R300,000 and he's looking forward to carrying this good form through to the All Africa Poker tournament on 16th November.
