Ivey takes the chip lead in Day 1b of Aussie Millions
There field of 294 players starting the second Day 1 of the Aussie Millions Main Event included 2007 champion Gus Hansen, Joe Hachem, Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, Shannon Elizabeth just to name a few. Annie Duke, Clonie Gowen and Amanda 'MandyB' Baker all landed up at the same starting table just all were set to play their A game . Phil Laak flopped a set with pocket aces and sent Shannon Elizabeth to the rail in the early stages of the tournament. Other notable eliminations included Josh 'JJProdigy' Field, Ferguson and Laak. Phil Ivey finished the day in top position after taking out two players in one big hand when he caught quads on the turn against a flopped straight.
