Good night… and good luck
A final flurry of all-ins occurs as the last hand of the night is announced. In a typical example of trying to make or break whilst re-buys are available, Ray Rahme went all-in with J 10 and was called by A K and Q Q. The flop was A 10 8 giving the AK the lead. The turn put Ray firmly in the driver seat when a Jack appeared to give him two pairs. The Queen on the river completed the straight for Big Slick and gave the Queens a set leaving Ray languishing in third place.
The re-buy period is finally over and the add-ons are in the process of being completed. Tomorrow we will begin with the serious business of playing freeze out poker in earnest.
With only three players eliminated during the re-buy period, Friday promises to be a gruelling day for the players.
We start again tomorrow at 9am.
