From chip leader to the short stack at the 2008 WSOP
10 November 2008. Dennis Phillips kicked off the first day of the 2008 WSOP Main Event final table yesterday in the chip lead, but one day later he is on the short stack. The November Nine has now been reduced to four players only, who are battling it out for the grandest poker prize of all as we speak. The remaining players with their chip counts are as follows: Ivan Demidov is in the lead with 51,325,000, Peter Eastgate is short on his heels with 46,325,000, Ylon Schwartz is currently third with 19,800,000 and Dennis Phillips is at a disadvantage at this stage with 18,775,000.
