Ryan Kelly played a 2 4 off suit on a Q high board against Jaco Venter’s Q and made a runner runner straight. On the very next hand he doubled up again and found himself in excellent position. On the next hand, Kevin Stanley tried a steal with 7 8 off and walked into Kelly’s pocket Queens. Once again Stanley hit both of his cards and eliminated the hapless and shell shocked Kelly in 20th place.
On the table next door Nahum Lum made a call for all of his chips against Jim Gubb with two pairs and lost to a trip. Out in 19th position
At the feature table, Damien Cornelli’s dream to go to Vegas came to a grinding halt when he was eliminated in 18th place.
