Event#5 of the 2008 Aussie Millions.
The $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em with Rebuys, was a star studded event which saw young gun Josh 'JJProdigy' Field and Aussie Millions new comer and APPT Grand Final Event winner Grant Levy put themselves up against poker pro’s like Jimmy 'gobboboy' Fricke. Frickle was last year’s Aussie Millions runner – up. Australia had a strong contingent with local poker stars Sarah Bilney, Lee 'Final Table' Nelson, Billy 'The Croc' Argyros. Young gun Josh 'JJProdigy' Field gave it a good shot but exited the event on Day 1. Fricke took advantage of the rebuy period and loose action and doubled-up. Anna Wroblewski kept running into strong hands and had to rebuy several time. “I've lost with A-Q four times, and A-K twice!” exclaimed Anna. After all was said and down and the rebuy period came to an end the prize pool for the tournament boosted an impressive amount of $526,000 with $168,320 as first prize. Notable eliminations were Kenna James and Josh 'JJProdigy' Field.
