European Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure
A record setting 1,136 poker players registered at the European Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure held in the Bahamas. Among the hordes of players who jetted into the Caribbean was our every own All Africa Poker regaining champion Greg Ronaldson. After hours of play, doubling of chips stacks and bad beats the final table is set to start early tomorrow. The last player to meet his fate and leave the tournament was William Thorson, in a respectable 9th place. Chip leader going into the final table is David “The Dragon” Pham, who has had a roller coaster ride seeing his chip stack take a nose dive only to come back stronger then ever. This is his first EPT final table appearance for CardPlayer Player of the Year, Pham. Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, who is currently second, was the runner-up at last year’s EPT Scandinavian Open. The buzz from the European Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is that if play continues as it has been, ElkY and The Dragon will be going head to head for the $2 Million first prize.
