Ed Jordan in the house
The celebrity player for this event is the popular entertainer Ed Jordan. Ed is best known for his smooth sounds as a singer and more recently as the effervescent host on the game show Deal or No Deal.
Having developed a taste for poker at the Celebrity Challenge in February where he finished a respectable fourth, Ed decided to try his hand in a real tournament.
His first target will be to make it through the rebuy period which ends at midnight tonight. Hi second is to finish higher than Colin moss in the previous AAPT. More on Ed’s progress as the tournament gets under way.
Another new addition to the poker community is Rydal Demonse who is the lucky Club VIP sms competition winner. His poker experience is also rather limited but he has received numerous coaching sessions during the last few weeks to get him up to speed for his TV debut. Good Luck Rydal!
