Eber spanked again
Eben Lottering misreads the board and wins a massive hand from Matt Train. On a 6 8 9 flop, after a raise from Train and a call from Lottering pre-flop, Lottering moves all-in for a pretty big bet of nearly 50k. Train eventually makes the call showing A 9 and Lottering turns over 6 7 thinking he had flopped the straight. He was stumped for only a moment and then he decided that the 10 would come anyway. It did…
Ryan Eber takes another massive hit, this time at the hands of the animated Paul Spies. On a 4 7 2 rainbow flop, Eber bet out for 10k and was raised by Spies to 35k. Showing his usual characteristic strength, Eber moved all-in.
Spies contemplated for about 30 seconds before he made the call for his tournament life with his last 75k. Spies showed J J and Eber A K. The turn and river were blanks and the pot was worth nearly 250k making Spies one of the chip leaders and Eber with only about 60k.
The blinds are at 1,500/3,000 – 300.
