Warren Zackey knocked Desmond Godfrey out with pocket fish hooks (JJ) against A K. The board fell J 2 9 10 5 to give Zackey the win.
Next out was Pieter Taljaard, who was knocked out by Keith Bishop on table 9. Taljaard went all-in with A K pre-flop. Bishop called with pocket Ks which held out with nothing falling on the board.
Neville vd Merwe was then knocked out by Mark Lifman, pitting his A 10 against Lifman’s pocket ladies (QQ). The flop fell 8 Q A, giving Lifman the win and sending vd Merwe home.
Johan Kemp was also knocked out, reducing the field to 97 players.
