DAY 1B BRINGS MORE AAP PLAYERS CLOSER TO WSOP DREAM
Nik Rujevic, Oliver Berman and Neville Robbeson were breathing easier today, after a long day at the tables yesterday in Day 1 B of the World Series of Poker in which 1,158 players participated. Unfortunately this day saw a brutal end for Kyri Patsalos at midnight along with many others, a mere hour before the end of the 5 blind level day, leaving only 615 players.
Oliver had a significant chip stack at end of play, with just over 81,000 chips. This will place him in a comfortable starting position on Tuesday as he goes through to Day 2A. So another three players join Darren Miller and Mel Banfield in their journeys through to their respective WSOP Day 2A. A total of 1251 players will start at 12pm on Tuesday 8th July as these two first days combine for the next leg of this poker marathon.
