Confusion reigns
In what turned out to be a messy hand, Sami Sidia went all-in. Lolly Jackson who was in seat 1 in the small blind got up to think but left his cards unprotected. The dealer assumed that he had folded and mucked them to Jackson’s distress.
Then the dealer announced the wrong total for Neville Eber to make the call out of the big blind. Eber made the call at that amount but was reluctant to put in more. Eventually Sandy Koor as tournament director was called but the cards were being shuffled already so the hand was over.
Sami was alternately happy that he one the pot, upset that Neville hadn’t put in the amount that he had called and just stressed out at nursing a short stack for so long…
