Common mistakes made by beginners
Two of the biggest mistakes a beginning poker player makes are firstly they play in far too many hands because they simply just want to play poker. This means staying in hands that are not good for you and you end up losing more money than actually making money.
You will need to upgrade your starting hand requirements if you are playing in half or more hands you are dealt. The second being although there is no rule to bluffing most beginners’ feel that they have not won unless they bluff. Bluffing is part of poker however players new to the game may not know how or when to use it. Bluffing will only work against certain people and in certain situations. If you see that a player always calls to the showdown then it is impossible to bluff that player. This is why it is also important to know how your opposition plays. So never bluff for the sake of Bluffing.
