In an amazing turn of events, strong contender Chris Hadzigrigrigoriou was left reeling when his set of sixes on the flop did not hold up against Evern Van Niekerk’s J Q on a Q 6 K board. The turn was a 9 and the river a 10 giving Van Niekerk an unlikely straight and keeping him in the game.
A few hands later, Chris pushed with K 10 and was met by Mel “The Terminator” Banfield and her A K. He has been eliminated in 21st position.
